Description: Gilboa Quarry is Ohio's favorite scuba diving location. The "shallow side" of the quarry offers a number of dive sites at depths from 15-60 ft. The newest site is this
magnificent Grumman Gulf Stream, sunk on April 14, 2001, on the shallow side. The "deep side" is a great place for training requiring depths to over 120 ft. Campsites are located in the woods along the south side of the quarry, convenient to the docks. Modern restroom and shower facilities make camping a pleasure. The Quarry is open 24 hours, 365 days per year. Fills are available any time.

Description: White Star Quarry is located about 1 hour and 45 minutes north of Columbus. Good visibility and warm water (you’ll still need a coldwater suit). The park is run by Sandusky County Parks and Recreation dept. There is an underwater structure with a tunnel that you used to be able to swim through, but now the parks department will not allow divers in it.

Description: Scuba diving at the park is regarded as one of the finest freshwater spots in the Tri-State area. Visibility, on a clear day, can sometimes reach 25' or more, and there are many easy entry points. The average water depth is 30 ft., with many shelves, rock formations, large fresh water fish and plant life There are also a couple of bottom trenches that run 60ft. deep or more, we call "The Abyss". On the bottom, one may experience a wide variety of wildlife, including seasonal jelly fish. Local scuba schools have set up training courses and have an assortment of bottom sites, including a sunken cabin cruiser. We pride ourselves on our clean spring-fed water. It is officially tested twice each season, and is rated one of the lowest bodies of water as far as contaminants. Many quality, self-insured dive schools are regular to the quarry, and events are sometimes scheduled, such as: A Halloween Dive, Treasure Dives and Scavenger Hunts. Law enforcement and Fire & Rescue dive teams from the Tri-State area also do their training and practices here.
